Olympic Rider Suffers Serious Injuries

An Olympic equestrian rider, Edmond Gibney, who competed for Ireland in the 2004 Athens Olympics, is in the hospital with serious head injuries after a motorcycle accident in Southampton, England. He is understood to be in the intensive care unit of a Hampshire Hospital.
